I am Silas, a data engineer studying Business Informatics at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology). Most of my work is about building modern data warehouse architectures, automating complex data flows and tuning database performance.
Focus
I like working on the whole path data takes: scalable data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data warehouses – from raw data extraction to the interactive BI dashboard.

Background
From infrastructure engineering to data engineering
Before specializing in data engineering and cloud analytics, I worked as an IT Systems Engineer at dynabcs in server and storage virtualization and IT infrastructure. That foundation lets me model data platforms not only at the code and SQL level, but also understand their underlying infrastructure, containerization, cost scaling and performance as a whole.
